Whenever I explore rock pools, I find myself reflecting on how these small, sheltered environments hold eons of history, with hidden remnants of life from the past beneath the surface. The dark sky in the painting symbolises the uncertainty of the future, yet the sea remains a constant, unyielding force, indifferent to the passage of time.
